Due to Covid-19 it has become very difficult to plan to travel.

At Lillehammer Fjellstue og Hytteutleie, we have changed our booking conditions, so that it will be easier to cancel without paying a fee if there should be an increased spread of infection and travel restrictions that make the planned travel impossible.

Note that the flexibility only applies to imposed travel restrictions, not illness or imposed quarantine, then the cancellation must be covered by your travel insurance.

Flexible cancellation Covid-19 (only applies to the price group Flexible price Covid 19)
The reservation can be canceled free of charge until 12.00 CET 21 days before arrival. If canceled before the deadline, the paid deposit will be refunded in full. If canceled after the deadline, the total price of the reservation must be paid in full.

We still want to be as flexible as possible, even though it is challenging at a time when the infection situation is unpredictable. If the infection situation gives border restrictions and you can not travel as planned, you may cancel the stay for free even after the cancellation deadline, provided that you cancel the stay the same day as the restrictions are announced (same day as the authorities give travel advice or close borders).

If the stay is canceled later than this, the stay must be paid in full. It is therefore important to follow both your own country and the Norwegian authorities' travel recommendations in connection with planned travel.

The cancellation must be made in writing, by e-mail to Lillehammer Fjellstue og Hytteutleie: boo[email protected] or canceled via our online booking.

We highly recommend that you have travel and cancellation insurance through your local insurance company in order to obtain a full refund of the stay in the event of an illness that prevents an agreed stay.

The stay must be paid as follows:

30% of the total price will be charged to the card on the same day as the booking is made.
70% of the total price will be charged on the card 21 days before the date of arrival.

Note that other cancellation policies may apply to package deals, non-refundable prices and other price groups!
