Although Nordseter is best known for its fantastic cross-country ski trails, the nearest alpine resort is only 15 minutes away. Sjusjøen Ski Center is just 13 km by car from Nordseter and offers a complete experience for the whole family.

The resort features 4 lifts and 7 km of slopes spread across 8 runs. The slopes have a vertical drop of 250 meters, and the longest run is 2.2 km. A six-seater chairlift takes you to a breathtaking view at the top of the ski area.

The ski center has a robust snowmaking system, ensuring an early season start and excellent conditions well past Easter. There is also a children's slope that is free for everyone, located right next to Sjusjøen Park. The park offers a wide variety of rails, boxes, jumps, and other fun elements, making it popular among snowboarders and freestyle skiers.

The six-seater chairlift takes you to a stunning view at the top of the ski area. At the summit, you'll find a lovely children's slope with a conveyor lift and Brannhytta. Brannhytta is a small and charming café open every weekend throughout the winter, as well as during the Christmas holidays, winter break (weeks 8 and 9), and Easter.
