These animals are generally friendly, but it is important to show respect:

  • Avoid feeding the animals: Your own food can make them sick, and some animals may become protective of their offspring.

  • Keep your distance: Let the animals be and observe them from afar to avoid disturbing their natural behavior.

  • Dogs on a leash: Remember that leashing is mandatory from April 1st to August 20th. Even outside this period, dogs should be kept on a leash in areas with grazing livestock to prevent stress or harm to the animals.

If you come across an injured animal, it’s important to act quickly. Note the color of the collar or ear tag, as well as where and when you observed the animal, and contact the local grazing association or the police at 02800.

By following these guidelines, you contribute to a harmonious coexistence between people and animals at Nordseter while enjoying a rich nature experience.
