Nearest grocery store when you rent from Lillehammer Fjellstue this summer

Kiwi Sjusjøen – almost in the mountains
The nearest grocery store is Kiwi Sjusjøen, about 6 km away. On the mountain road over to Sjusjøen, you spend just under 10 minutes by car, turn off Nordseterveien down at the intersection at the waste site. Kiwi can be found right in the heart of Sjusjøen. Here you will find a good selection of groceries and cottage accessories. The store is also open on Sundays all year round, which is convenient if you arrive at the weekend.
There is a large parking lot and free parking for customers and there are also several fast chargers for electric cars, so you can charge while shopping.

Next to Kiwi is a large Sport 1 store with a very good selection of seasonal sports equipment. In addition, they have rental of both bicycles and skis.

On the way from Lillehammer: Kiwi Stampa
If you come from Lillehammer, there are several shopping opportunities along the way. The nearest grocery store on the route is Kiwi Stampa, which is located in Nordsetervegen, right at the roundabout at Olympiaparken. Here it is easy to stop by to shop before driving further up towards the mountain. There is free parking for customers.
Major trade: Strandtorget
If you want a larger selection, the shopping center Strandtorget is located at the main exit to Lillehammer from the E6. Here you can do bulk shopping, and you will also find a charging station for electric cars.
Restaurants and eateries near Nordseter
Although there is no dining at Lillehammer Fjellstue during the summer season, there are several nice places to eat a short distance from Nordseter.
Nordseter Fjellpark Café and shop opens on June 29 and here they offer small dishes, coffee, waffle, ice cream in cones and fresh baked goods. In addition, they have a convenience store with some dairy products, a small selection of hygiene and household items.
At Sjusjøen, just 6 kilometers away, you will find several restaurants that stay open throughout the summer. Here you can enjoy everything from a good lunch after the bike ride to coffee and cakes on a sunny terrace overlooking the mountain landscape.
The Barn Bar 
A popular meeting place in the center of Sjusjøen with a relaxed atmosphere, lunch and dinner service as well as outdoor seating on nice summer days. Here you will find everything from simple lunch dishes to hearty dinners and something good in the glass after a day in the mountains.

Rustad Hotel & Fjellstue – opens 29.06
A traditional mountain hotel by Sjusjøvannet serving lunch, coffee, home baking and dinner during the summer season. Here you can enjoy the view of the water while taking a break from the day's activities.
Opening hours: café every day from 10 am to 6 pm. Dinner service every day at 18.30 (table reservation required)
Rømåssetra – open daily from 29/6 and throughout July
A traditional farm café serving sour cream porridge, cured meats, waffles and homemade pastries. Here, children can greet animals while the adults enjoy a real farm atmosphere. Children's riding is offered a few days a week.
Food experiences at Pellestova
For those who want a little excursion from Nordseter, Pellestova on Hafjelltoppen is a great option for both lunch, coffee and dinner. Combining beautiful mountain views with good dining experiences, the place has become a popular stop for cyclists, hikers and families on summer holidays. To get there, you can drive along the mountain roads (which in winter are ski trails) and after about 10 minutes you are there.
At Pellestova you will find several different restaurants where you can enjoy everything from coffee, fresh pastries, waffles, cakes and simple lunch dishes to pizza or a better dinner made from short-traveled ingredients from our own slaughterhouse.
If you want a larger selection of restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, Lillehammer city centre is only 15-20 minutes' drive from Nordseter. Here you will find everything from family-friendly restaurants and cozy cafes to international eateries and local specialties based on Norwegian ingredients.
For many of our guests, however, it is precisely the freedom to cook their own meals that is an important part of the mountain holiday.
