Nordseter is a perfect starting point for ski trips for both families and athletes. The ski slopes in Lillehammerfjellet are usually some of the first to open on natural snow in the fall. The slopes run along the mountain roads, which close to car traffic as soon as there is enough snow to drive a snow groomer. The slopes are connected to Hafjell Skiresort, Pellestova, Mosetertoppen, Sjusjøen and Birkebeineren Skistadion as soon as there is enough snow. We normally have skiing conditions from mid-November. It is also a short distance to both the ski resorts at Sjusjøen and at Birkebeinerstadion in Lillehammer if you want some sessions on natural snow.
Accommodation
We have a large accommodation capacity in our facility and can accommodate groups of up to 200 people with accommodation and meals.
We offer accommodation in ready-made beds inside our cozy mountain lodge, or outside in our 2-bedroom cabins and in our apartments.
Here you can choose whether you want the most affordable option of bringing your own bed linen and washing up yourself, or you can order a package where bed linen and final cleaning are included. Food service
We serve 3 meals a day, and there is food for active people, such as pasta with meat sauce, meatballs, lasagna, taco buffet and of course dessert for each meal. Also included is our breakfast buffet with a good selection of toppings. We also make oatmeal on request, and provide hot juice to fill in the thermos. We adapt meal times to the fitness seeker. Our package price includes accommodation and food. Prices vary slightly from weekend to midweek, but are approximately NOK 1200 per adult and 850 for children, the price also varies slightly if you want to stay in ready-made beds inside the mountain lodge or outside in our cabins or apartments. It is also entirely possible for participants who live in a private cabin at Nordseter to join in meals with the rest of the club.
Social gathering
After dinner on Saturday, the dining rooms can be used for social activities. Here we serve homemade chocolate cake. We also have the opportunity to offer a large gathering room in Nordseter Fjellkirke. This is located about 500 meters down the road and is a beautiful building to gather in. A very nice activity is to go in a torchlight procession down to the church. We drive down chocolate cake and prepare it down there.
Grease shed and ski shed
We have 2 heated grease sheds and a ski shed up by the mountain lodge. All apartments have their own ski shed. We lend out grease irons at reception. It is not permitted to bring skis into our units and all prepping must take place outside the units. The ski slopes are in the immediate vicinity (some restrictions in the early season).
Dog on ski trip
We have a number of units where you can stay with a dog. The price for this is NOK 350.00. The dog must not be left alone.
Trail guarantee and trail info
Our goal is to be able to offer at least 5 km of trails on natural snow as soon as conditions permit. If we are unable to do so due to weather conditions, the alternative is to add training sessions to the artificial snow facilities at Sjusjøen or Lillehammer. If it has not been possible to produce snow there, the collection can be cancelled free of charge 7 days before arrival or earlier if the forecast indicates that it is not possible to train on skis.
